When the body and mind are more relaxed, it’s easier to get a good night’s sleep. Did you know that drinking the correct amount of water, your body can rest much better? This is because while we sleep, water plays a fundamental role for a series of metabolic actions to take place. Taking into account that we spend an average of 36% of our life sleeping, being well hydrated during this period is essential for a healthy life, have you thought about that?
But let’s talk a little about water: A Japanese scientist by the name of Masaru Emoto, born in Yokohama on July 22, 1943, who became interested in the healing power of water, having carried out several experiments using photography. Basically, the technique used for his experiments consisted of exposing the water to various situations, after which he froze it and then photographed the crystals formed by the molecules. In this way, he photographed several water molecules, both from polluted rivers and from crystalline springs, subjected to different qualities of energy and various sensations, emotions and feelings, coming from common people, or even to radio and film sounds, among many other situations he rehearsed (Emoto, 1999).
With this work he demonstrated that water reacts to different sounds, thoughts and emotions. Likewise, he showed how the effect of sounds, thoughts and feelings alter the molecular structure of water. Thus, photographs of water molecules subjected to soft music, for example, were left with a more harmonious and bright appearance than those that were subjected to heavier sounds, which showed a rather unclean, shaky and dark appearance. A simple change in the relationship with water can bring enormous vitality to the planet, as humans and the Earth are mostly water, as the implications of this research awaken new awareness in how we can make an impact positive on Earth and in our personal health, that is, even for the benefit of our sleep.
